No. Hope Foundry is not a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Although our business is centered around supporting mental health wellness, our structure involves the exchange of goods for money. This transactional nature makes us ineligible for 501(c)(3) status, reserved for organizations that operate exclusively for charitable, religious, or educational purposes without a commercial element. We are committed to spreading hope & healing.

Are Helping Hands and other sculpture purchases tax deductible?

Accepted Answer

No. Since you or your benefactor receive a sculpture in exchange for money, there the purchase is not tax deductible. Direct donations to our partner organizations are tax deductible.
